SUPPORT OUR WORK BY MAKING A DONATION

WHAT WE DO

Act as a Canadian hub for communication and knowledge-sharing across organizations on global LGBTIQ and SOGIESC human rights issues, especially emphasizing the perspectives of international partners.

Convene and host gatherings, conferences and meetings on Canada and global SOGIESC human rights.

Encourage and support public awareness, education and research related to global SOGIESC human rights issues.

Engage and support advocacy efforts both nationally and internationally to advance SOGIESC human rights and inclusion.

HOW WE WORK

A number of membership-based Working Groups have been set up as determined by interest of participating members.

  • Communications and Public Awareness
  • Advocacy and Government Relations
  • Learning and Community of Practice

We may set up other Working Groups in the future. Working Groups develop their own goals, membership and agendas.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our network believes that Canada and Canadians play a role in the world around supporting movements involved in the advancement of human rights of LGBTIQ people worldwide. Our vision is a world where LGBTIQ people everywhere enjoy full human rights and socio-economic well-being.
